The best pesto ever! A super nutrient power kick “Hemp Pesto Recipe”… all raw, all fresh, organic & delicious! In this recipe I pretty much measured by eye/by taste, here’s what you’ll need…

Hemp Pesto

Ingredients: 

  • raw young hemp leaves – a handful
  • fresh basil or cilantro – a handful or more (I used basil in this recipe)
  • 3 – 4 fresh cloves of garlic
  • 1 large de-seeded jalapeno pepper
  • handful of organic raw shelled hemp seeds
  • handful of organic raw pumpkin seeds
  • red pepper flakes to taste
  • Himalayan Pink Salt to taste
  • organic black pepper to taste
  • black cumin seeds – (nigella sativa)
  • 1 – 2 Tbsp organic 100% Pure Cold-Pressed Black Seed Oil (nigella sativa)
  • olive oil – extra virgin, 1st press, cold-pressed – be generous!

Hemp Pesto

Bland all ingredients well! Add more olive oil or whatever spice/ingredient you wish to taste.

You may add pesto to soba noodles, rice crackers or veggie crackers, pasta, drizzle on a Caprese Salad, sandwiches, tacos, meats, the list is endless…
