Rob Lerner

Rob LernerRob Lerner is a biologist, business entrepreneur, and dedicated sustainability advocate. He has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara, an M.S. in Botany from University of Washington, and is the veteran of several start-ups in renewable energy, technology development, and other fields.

His current professional focus is on biochar as a strategy for climate change mitigation and sustainable agriculture. From 2009-2011 he directed the Costa Rica Biochar Project, and he is currently developing biochar initiatives in his adopted country of Mexico.
